What do we eat? Where do we shop? What makes it easier or more difficult for us to consume local products?
These are some of the questions we want to answer through “Menjam d’aquí”, a participatory programme promoted by San Crispín with the support of the Regional Ministry of Health of the Government of the Balearic Islands and in collaboration with the organisations that form part of the Alliance for an Agroecological Menorca.
The aim of the project is to develop a shared assessment of people’s food consumption habits, identify the main barriers that make it difficult to consume local and organic products, and gather proposals that can help build a more resilient, sustainable and locally based food system.
HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?
The first thing you can do is complete the survey we have prepared anonymously. Every response will help us better understand the reality of food consumption on the island and guide future actions together with the organisations working towards a more agroecological Menorca.
In addition, during the week of 21 to 26 September, we will organise four in-person participatory workshops in the municipalities of Ciutadella, Es Migjorn, Alaior and Mahón, where we will explore the survey results in greater depth and gather proposals and feedback from local residents.
A PRIZE FOR TAKING PART
As a thank you for your participation, everyone who takes part in the in-person workshops or completes this online questionnaire will be entered into a draw to win ONE OF TWO hampers of local and organic products from Menorca.
We encourage you not only to take part, but also to share this survey with family, friends and people in your community. The more diverse the participation, the richer and more representative the assessment we can build together.
Thank you very much for helping us improve!
