Looking to learn a practical trade with real job opportunities? The Menorca Chamber of Commerce is offering a free fishmongery course for people aged 45 to 60 who are unemployed or currently inactive and want to improve their employability.
The course will take place from 23 to 27 February, in person, with a total duration of 30 hours, at the San Crispín Cooking Classroom in Alaior.
This is a hands-on course focused on the handling, preservation and sale of fish and seafood, with career opportunities in fishmongers, markets, supermarkets and the catering sector.
The training will be delivered by Rafel Quintana and Raquel Santiago, experienced professionals in the field, and will include the direct involvement of the San Crispín fishmonger, bringing real, day-to-day professional experience into the classroom.
The course is free of charge and places are limited.
