Donation to the Red Cross in Menorca

The Cooperative delivered this week a €500 solidarity donation to the Red Cross in Menorca, as part of the latest voluntary loyalty points donation campaign carried out by its members. Once again, this participatory initiative has made it possible to transform accumulated shopping points into a solidarity action aimed at supporting local social organisations.

Thanks to the members’ contributions and the additional support provided by the Cooperative itself, which matched the amount collected, a total of €500 was raised. With these funds, the Red Cross in Menorca will be able to strengthen different social support programmes and assistance for vulnerable individuals and families.

The Cooperative would once again like to thank all members for their involvement and solidarity. Through small everyday gestures, they help make these collective actions possible, generating a direct positive impact on both the local community and the island.

This is already the fifth time that this solidarity initiative based on member participation has been organised. In addition, throughout the year, the Cooperative continues to collaborate with different social organisations by also serving as a permanent collection point for food and essential products.
